Did you know for every $3.00 cup of non-fair-trade coffee sold, farmers receive only two cents? This is only one example of how workers are taken advantage of when selling their products. With fair trade however, the goal is to help support third world countries by paying producers the deserved wage. This helps citizens in third world countries support their families and improve their quality of life. Please stop down Dec. 11-13th to treat yourself with a gift or surprise someone with a handcrafted present for the holidays, all while supporting women artisans in third world countries.

The High School Drama Club holiday party will take place after school until 4pm on Thursday, December 14th in the cafeteria. There will be snacks, games, and a white elephant gift exchange. Throw on your best ugly sweater and come out to celebrate.

STAND will meet today at 2:30 at the SOC.
