Rock 'em Rewards Weekly Winners - November 6, 2026
Posted Date: 11/06/26 (04:03 PM)
We had our 11th drawing for the Weekly Rock 'em Reward Winners - Click to View Winners.
Our students continue to demonstrate daily what it means to be a Blue Streak by being responsible, respectful and safe.
As part of the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) initiative, students are noticed and acknowledged by staff members for being responsible, respectful and/or safe. When noticed for meeting these expectations, they are given a ticket to be entered into a weekly drawing. Tickets are drawn on Fridays and students are recognized and reinforced for meeting our building expectations.
Keep up the great work Blue Streaks and congratulations to all Rock 'em Reward Winners!
Reminders:
Congratulations to our Boys' Cross Country Team for qualifying to the STATE meet!
Best of luck to them this weekend! Go Blue Streaks!!!
SOME DAYS REMIND YOU WHY YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO. TODAY WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS! 💙
Through the Patriot Project, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming two Medal of Honor recipients to speak to our students in grades 9–12. Their message was powerful, meaningful and inspiring.
But what was equally inspiring was the response from our students. With more than 1,100 students in attendance, the gym was so quiet and attentive that you could hear a pin drop. Both gentlemen took the time to personally compliment our students, sharing that our student body was among the most respectful and attentive groups they had ever spoken in front of.
Think about that for a moment. More than 1,100 teenagers earning that kind of recognition from two Medal of Honor recipients. THAT is something special! THAT is LAKE.
To our students: Thank you for representing our school with such incredible pride, maturity and respect. You made us proud today!
To our parents and guardians: Thank you for the values you instill in your children every day. Today was a reflection of the wonderful young people you are raising.
The greatest measure of a school isn't just what students accomplish, but the character they demonstrate. Days like today remind us that the character of our LAKE students is something truly special!
We ALL have so much to be proud of. It was a GREAT day to be a Blue Streak! ⚡
Have a wonderful weekend!
